I'm a bit surprised by the number of positive reviews, since it seems that the manufacturer (Ateco) was too cheap to even install hinges on this box. To be specific, one of the two "hinges" is a cheap plastic pin -- on mine, this fell out as soon as the box was removed from its cardboard sleeve. The other "hinge" has absolutely nothing at all holding it closed. In fact, if you look closely at the picture on this Amazon product page, you can see that there's nothing at all holding together the right-hand side.That having been said, it's is a nice container for holding all my decorating tips. So, most likely, I will find two metal pins to repair what is a brand-new product, and go on using it. Still, shame on Ateco for producing such a low-quality item! How many more cents would it have cost them for this box to come with working hinges?
