Well, the other reviews looked great so we bought a couple. The problem is that the lids on those we received are a bit undersized and virtually impossible to actually snap onto the dredge. Because the set, alas, doesn't include a hole-less top that could be snapped on to keep whatever you've got in there dry and fresh we had intended,between uses, to stretch some saran wrap over the top and snap a lid back on. You can forget it, there's not enough slack, so the wrap tears as the cap grinds it down. So: very nice to look at, really a pain to use. Too bad, too, as the only ones we've found that are perfect cost way too much.

I was just looking for one shaker to apply cornstarch to my husbands skin to keep him dry and this comes with three! Great! A multitasker, but both my 90 y/o mil and I had trouble getting the cover on. Of course, once it's on, you aren't going to be enveloped in a white cloud so that's a good thing.

I purchased these dredgers for my mother because they were not made of stainless steel or chromed metal because in HI, both will rust regardless of the materials claims. My mom loves them and so do I. The plastic lids with different hole sizes are a plus too.
