I did a small research online before buying it, a found a review that highlighted couple of problems of this kind of stretchable lide. In particular, the difficulty in putting them on the container, and the relatively small number of containers on which they would fit. Given the low cost, I decided to give them a try anyhow: unfortunatly, the review was more than accurate. While the work great on containers of just the right size and shape of the border, they are extremely difficult to fit on containers that require to stretch them noticeably, and even when correctly placed keep slipping off many containers (even worst if the surface is humid). I never tried other brands, so I don't know if this are a problems of this specific model, or are a general issues. Facts is, now they are setting in a drawer of the kitchen and almost never used.

These sounded like a great idea. However, they do NOT "stretch to fit" very many bowl sizes, and if you have to stretch them at all, you better not be trying to put them on a wet bowl. They don't really fit ANY of the bowls I was planning to use them with (standard sized Pyrex bowl set).

These covers are a great idea... Maybe you are more organized than I am, but how many times have to got the bottom to a storage container but can't find the top? Sadly these covers don't fit anything. If they did, I would love them but they slide off especially when they get cold -- like in the fridge. They need better side grips and more shapes... like square.
